Databases
To search the databases (Medline, Embase, BNI, Cinahl, PsychInfo, HMIC) with links from search results to full text articles where applicable, login with OpenAthens, select 'My Resources' where you can choose from Ebscohost databases, Ovid Technologies or ProQuest New Platform to search these databases.  Alternatively use the Search the Databases link from the EEL website and log in with your Athens account. 

Journals
To access the e-journals and find out which journals are available in print we recommend that you use this link (Alternatively the Find a Journal link from the EEL website) and log in with your athens account. This is because we purchase some journals from intermediaries not the original publisher.

Access to journals from MAHealthCare includes British Journal of Cardiac Nursing, Nurse Prescribing, International Journal of Palliative Care

E-Books
Collection of e-books available from Kortext  First type in West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and then  login in via Open Athens. Also includes Diversity and Equality Titles

Dynamed is a clinical reference tool with evidence summaries. Updated daily. it also has links to drug information, NICE Guidelines and Patient UK . 

 You can login via OpenAthens.  Register for a  personal account to gain access to the mobile app. Follow the instructions in the video
